Magic card trick - find the mate!

You present a deck of cards and shuffle them. Your spectator cuts the deck anywhere and takes the top card. Whatever card they cut to, you are able to instantly locate the "mate" of that card: if they have the 3 of clubs, you find the 3 of spades; if they have the King of hearts, you find the King of diamonds - and you do it behind your back, or in a pocket!

This is my go-to card trick. If I can only carry one deck, this is the one. The effect is mind-blowing and it can be instantly repeated, becoming more impossible each time you do it! Best of all, it can also be used as a normal deck of cards, so you can then move on to any other card trick, which thoroughly hides the secret in this deck!
